My partner and I were recently looking for a smoothie maker for ourselves. The only problem was, what with summer time approaching, we wanted a relatively large smoothie maker so that we could serve a large amount to our friends and family when they came around for barbeques. As a result, we set off looking for a 'half gallon smoothie maker'; wow are they hard to find! As always, it's our own experiences that give us the things that we write about on this website and so, since we had trouble but finally found a solution, we figured that there must be more of you out there who are having the same trouble and need an answer. Weather you want it for your house or you are a business which will be selling smoothies in large quantities, you're probably here because the norm just won't cut it. You don't just want a smoothie maker, you want a half gallon smoothie maker! Here's the best one we found. It should be noted that, though we found the smoothie makers of this size hard to find, there are stil lquite a few out there. This is just the one we ended up going with but we encourage anyone to look around for other smoothie makers first so you can make sure you're geting the best one for you. The one that WE decided on was the Blendtec commercial smoothie maker machine/belnder.
This Blendtec blender comes with 2 jars ezblender. The main feature of the ez blender™ with PROGRAM PLUS™ is 30 Pre-Programmed Blend Cycles On-Board. This Same Blender is used by Starbucks, Barnes and Noble and Versatile Milkshakes. It can make a lot of things from frozen coffees to fruit smoothies or even blended bar drinks. It gives you the ability to crush ice and frozen fruit (which we found to be very halpful. The ergonomical design of the jar allows 3-directional pouring, which was even more of a benefit for us when we wanted to use it for large groups. If you want one of these for your business, the jars may be personalized with your logo. It even has an LCD screen which reports cycle counts and other helpful features.
